hah...i knew you were going to post that. actually sufjan was recommended by phil, so props to both of you. i'm going to try to post little mp3 clips of the best song from each album sometime...
Is Sigur Ros me, oh please say so... Have you heard their new one? Ok my wife is in my ear saying the real procurement of my Sigur Ros taste is to her credit so maybe I get a second generation props on it...
i'd have to go with the vanilla sky soundtrack on that one, john. jeese, i don't want to leave you out, though. maybe if you could link yourself to my first seeing that movie, and kasey first told you about vanilla sky ... let's see here ... sixth generation?
i'm glad i could make the musical connection, george.
i'd like to see sigur ros play ... or whatever it is that they do. though i'm not sure i could afford the huge prices icelandic bands are rumored to warrant ... or pronounce their name.
yeah, he does it a lot starting around april and through till it gets too cold and the fishes go deep. he's planning on phasing out of work here in a few years and just doing that half the time. you get to do much fishing thereabouts?
ranthony, you and luke have become my official music guides. there once was a day when i showed a few the way, but no more. i haven't even been able to listen to the few you've suggested way back. maybe for my birthday you can make "a mix tape for another man's wife." Luke did, so maybe it's only fair i get one in return.
i'm both honored and humbled. will write more later. gotta go to a staff meeting for the job that i got at your house--because you guys are pure luck. consider the mix cd sent!
